History

Hardwick's Food Service Equipment is owned and operated by Carson Hardwick and son, Brad.

The company was started in 1974as a side-line summer job for Carson- the school teacher.  As the Grand Strand grew, so did the demands for restaurant equipment, paper products and advise on setting up new restaurants.  What began as a part-time hobby grew to a 18,000 ft showroom and warehouse.

The showroom and warehouse feature a vast array of: smallwares, china, paper products, glassware, pots & pans, bar supplies, ice machines, ranges, fryers etc.

Hardwick's has a long list of accomplishments as well as an enviable list of clients.

Recent projects include: Sea Island Inn, Kingston Plantation, Myrtle Beach Hilton, Pan American, Paradise Resort, Carolina Grill, Power House Bar and Grill, Grande Dunes Beach Club, Grand Dunes Golf Course, Bay Watch Resort,

BUT, don't be put off by the large project list.  They also cater to churches, small restaurant owners, convenience shores and the home cook.

Hardwick's has been part of the Hotel Restaurant Show for 10 years, bringing the major sales reps in to answer customers' questions.  Garland, Cambro, True, Scotsman. Hoshizaki, Sharp, Delfield and US Range were among those in attendance last year.  Hardwick's also sponsored all the equipment used in the Culinary Arts program and competitions at the Restaurant Show.
